Weekend Roll
A good time for a good time
Let’s just say that it’s a good time for a little light in our lives. To that end, here’s a video to play while dancing in the kitchen or anywhere you go this weekend. It’s a song from Anya Nami, a mysterious and bread-obsessed young singer.
What else do you need to feel good while indulging in life’s simple pleasures?
Maybe you need something to watch? Well, then Mary Sherman has you covered. She recently mentioned the Netflix Asia series Midnight Diner to me and last night I had my own marathon of watching. Sure it’s subtitled but it’s a worth the effort to feel the food and the world created from midnight to 7PM by the chef known only as "Master.”
Here’s the trailer on YouTube but you’ll need Netflix to watch the original series (not the 2019 movie):
Lastly for the weekend, here’s a little bit of lo-fi ambiance provided by LuKremBo, an artist whose music makes it into the Midnight Diner series. Use it to set the tone to whatever your heart wants to do this weekend. You can even use it for your own videos if that’s something you do. LuKremBo makes all his work free for everyone.

Well that little bread ditty sure put a smile on my face ;-). And thanks for the mention. I can check off my one minute of fame now and call it a day. I've been thinking about setting up camp here on Substack...we'll see. Sending hugs and love.
